What is the difference between ODM and OEM shoe manufacturing?

With ODM, you choose a shoe style our factory has already designed and customize its colors, materials and branding. With OEM, the shoe is built entirely from your own design and tech packs, often with custom molds. ODM is faster and cheaper to start; OEM gives you a fully exclusive product.

Can I sell an ODM style exclusively in my market?

Yes, exclusivity can be negotiated. For buyers committing to defined annual volumes, we can restrict a customized colorway or modified version of an ODM style from being sold to competitors in your country. Completely exclusive silhouettes are better handled through our OEM service with your own tooling.

What is the MOQ for ODM shoe orders?

ODM MOQ starts at 300 pairs per style and can be split across two or three colors. Because the tooling already exists, small orders are practical and carry no mold fees. Reorders above 1,000 pairs receive improved pricing, and we support continuous seasonal replenishment.

How much can I change on a ready ODM design?

You can change upper materials, panel colors, lining, laces, stitching, eyelets, logos, labels, insoles and packaging. The last and outsole normally stay as the developed version; if you need a new sole shape or significant silhouette change, our team will quote it as a custom OEM development instead.

How quickly can I receive ODM samples and bulk orders?

Customized ODM samples are typically finished in about 7 days and shipped by DHL or FedEx. After sample approval and deposit, bulk production takes 25-35 days depending on quantity and season. Your account manager shares a dated production schedule before the order begins.
